A: We have off the rack styles (sample gowns) starting at $600 and an amazing selection of designer wedding gowns to order that begin at $1000 and go up to $3000. The majority being between $1500 and $2200. At The Dressing Room we strive to work with every budget! Call the location you want to visit to get the most up to date information on current pricing.
A: We have the ability to fit brides of all shapes and sizes! Our bridal samples are size 8-30! We’ve worked with brides anywhere from size 0 to size 32. When you’re trying on our samples, we work our hardest to make them fit as close to your size as possible!
A: Our gowns can take 14-18 weeks to order. We like to have 2-4 months before your wedding date for your alterations to be completed. The ideal bride comes shopping 8-14 months before her wedding.
If you have less than 8 months, don’t panic! We have several options to work with your limited time frame. We’ve managed to help a bride find a dress in 24 hours, so we can make it work for you!
A: Yes! We work with several excellent professionals with years of bridal and formal wear alterations experience. Based on your schedule and alterations needs, we will set you up with the best seamstress for you! Alterations are a separate cost.
A: You will have the store to yourself for an hour and fifteen minutes. This includes a brief consultation where we learn more about you and your wedding. Expect to try on somewhere between 8-15 gowns during your visit. Many brides find their wedidng dress during their first appointment! Once you say “yes to the dress,” we take your measurements to order the best size for you! Payment in full is required.
A: The most important thing to bring to your appointment is an open mind. It is great to see inspiration photos for your ideal look, but very often brides fall in love with something completely different! Our consultants will work hard to learn your style and pull wedding dresses that you are sure to love!
We also recommend that you come with your hair and makeup done in a way that will best help you visualize your wedding style. You will not need shoes or special undergarments. If you have a piece of jewelry or accessory that is a “must have,” please bring it with you so that we can help incorporate it into your bridal look.
A: We recommend bringing 3-5 of your closest friends and/or family. Brides often find that too many opinions can make the decision making process more difficult!
A: Of course it is!! Bring on the bubbly. This is meant to be a fun experience for you and your group! Just make sure you bring drink ware, too!
